Quitting smoking has to be the hardest thing I have ever done.  After smoking for almost 14 years, I finally decided that I wanted to die of something other than emphysema or cancer.  I have, as of today, been smoke free for 1 month and 13 days....

...I miss it.  I think I have finally shed the last of the consequences of my childhood completely and have emerged into the adult world.

Halloween has to be one of the most bizarre customs.  Think about it...  dress up your kids as demons... and send them to beg for candy from complete strangers.  How did this happen?
